David Butler
Pastor
David and Jackie are passionate about reaching their community for Christ. Their love for people and ministry led them to start New Life Fellowship Church in Mesquite, TX in 1993. Prior to launching this church, he served on the staff of Northside Baptist Church in Mesquite, Tx.
They are driven by a hope to see people grow to their fullest potential and believe authenticity and transparency are vital to a strong and vibrant spiritual family. Making disciples is the focus of their strategy as they are committed to building and growing a healthy, happy church that impacts Northwest, KS and reflects Heaven here on Earth.​David & Jackie have been married for 31 years, and they are the proud parents of two amazing son's (Jon and Jake) and a beloved daughter-in-law (Rebecca) and three precious grandchildren (Harper Ann,Jaxon Dean and Bennett Anthony) whom they love dearly.

Dr. Ron Maifeld
Elder
Dr. Maifeld has served on the SFCC leadership team as an elder for over 15 years. His wisdom and steadiness has proven to be a gifting we have come to cherish on our leadership team.​Dr. Maifeld and his wife Beth have served both the SFCC congregation and the St. Francis community with faithfulness, character and godliness.​Dr. Maifeld graduated from veterinary school at Colorado State University. He and Beth have been married for 45 years. They have 2 adult children, a beloved daughter-in-law, and son-in-law. They are also the proud grandparents to 3 amazing grandchildren.​
KARY ZWEYGARDT
Elder
Kary has served on the SFCC leadership team for over 15 years. His vision and love for others is obvious. His love for Jesus is as well.​Kary is an artist and illustrator with a degree from Fort Hays State University in graphic design and has used his enormous gifting in art to teach it to others. Kary has served as Youth Pastor of SFCC, the proprietor of Zero's, a youth center. He owns The Artist Corner and Crossroads Studios, and serves as the President of the Cheyenne County Development Corporation.​Kary and his wife Kim, have been married for 23 years and they have three grown children (Jordan, Britt & Lauren), a son-in-law (Nathan) and a daughter-in-law (Jessie) both of whom they love dearly, and they are blessed with an extremely cute granddaughter (Zelda).
GREG COOPER
Deacon
It is with joy and excitement that we let you know that SFCC has a new member of its leadership team - Greg Cooper!​Greg, along with his wife JaNan and their children have been members of SFCC for approximately 13 years, and during that time, we have watched both of them grow in the Lord in tremendous ways.Greg is a graduate of SFCHS (class of 84) and has been a Journeyman Lineman for Prairie Land for the past twenty years.Please join us in welcoming Greg to our leadership team!​
TIM SCHMID
Deacon
Tim has served on our leadership team as a deacon for over 7 years and has been a valued addition to our team.His kind heart, never-ending smile, and his gift of encouragement has proven to be such a blessing to all of us on the leadership team, but more importantly, to our community.​Tim owns a contracting business: "Tim the Toolman" and he even shows the love, grace and acceptance of Jesus with those he's working for.​Tim and his wife Tina have been married for 29 years and they have 5 amazing children (Daniele, Braden, Ian, Katie & Mason), a daughter-in-law (Danielle), and a son-in-law (Braxton) and two adorable grandchildren (Landen & Raeanne).​
JONATHAN BUTLER
Deacon
Jonathan has recently become a Deacon at SFCC. Jon has a deep, yearning love for Christ and a strong passion to lead others to Him as well. He and his wife, Rebecca moved back to Saint Francis in 2018. Since that time, Jon has served the community as a law enforcement officer, displaying compassion, love, and integrity.
Jon and Rebecca have been married since 2016 and have 3 wonderful children; Harper, Jaxon, and Bennett.
Gary Wyatt
Deacon
Gary has recently joined the team as a Deacon. He and his family have been members of SFCC since the beginning of 2022 and have been a huge blessing to the church as well as the community of Saint Francis. Gary and his wife, Alicia are wonderful examples of being the church and showing Christ's love through service. Gary and Alicia have been married since 2009 and have three beautiful children; Gunner, Hattie, and Briggs. Gary will also be serving our community by teaching 5th grade, as well as serving with the Recreation Commission.

KIM ZWEYGARDT
Women's Ministry Leader (Sister's Gathering)
Kimberly Zweygardt is a Christ follower, wife, mother, writer, blogger, dramatist, worship leader, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, a fused glass artist, coffee lover and a taker of naps.​She has been published in The Rocking Chair Reader anthology, the Chicken Soup for the Soul Healthy Living Series on Heart Disease, and Rural Roads magazine as well as numerous blogs and Web-zines.She is the author of Stories from the Well and Ashes to Beauty: The Real Cinderella Story. Kim is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, AL. She lives in Kansas with the man of her dreams where their nest is empty but their lives are full.​SISTER'S is a ministry about doing life together. It's where the rubber meets the road as far as living out our faith is concerned.​It's open to women who attend our church, another church, or no church at all. It has been life changing as our friendships have deepened and we have gathered around the table to share a meal and our hearts.
MARLIN QUEEN
Sound Technician
Marlin, along with his family have been faithful members of SFCC for 14+ years.Marlin has faithfully served as our sound technician for the past five years. His expertise in computer skills in conjunction with him being an Engineer makes him the perfect candidate for this ministry.​Marlin graduated from the University of Texas in 1937​Marlin and his wife Kim have been married for 27 years and they have two amazing sons (Derek & Alex) and one extremely adorable granddaughter.
Danielle Schmid
Kid's 4 Christ Director
Danielle and her husband Ian have been a part of the SFCC family for the past four years, and in that time, Danielle has been such a blessing to our church through her gifting in music and now, through her love and passion for seeing our kids come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Our kid's look forward to Kid's 4 Christ every week!

Alicia Wyatt
Music Director
Alicia & her husband Gary, along with their three beautiful children moved to St. Francis in January of 2022, and they have been a vital part of our church family for over two years now. Alicia was born and raised in Rose Hill, KS where the rest of her family still live. She married her husband Gary in 2009. Gary has taught 4th/5th grade in the past. He will be teaching 5th grade this year at St. Francis Grade School.
Alicia has been a nurse almost 17 years, 10 of those as a CRNA. Her first love as a nurse was OB and that continued on to CRNA. Alicia is the proud mom to three kids: Gunner (9), Hattie (5), and Briggs (3). Her hobbies are her family and all that entails!
